I hardly visit this blog anymore, but I know that it’s being constantly assaulted by spambots, and I love killing those guys, so I’m going to fill out this whole post with spam poison links.

In the coming months, I’m going to shut down this site. Why? Because I’m creating a new site for all my crap. It’s going to be called something different, something unrelated to pie. Pie Productions actually started when I was in Fourth Grade. I thought the whole “randomness” of stuff like “I like pie” was hilarious, so I decided to start making comics under the name Pie Productions. I drew loads of them, called “The Sally and Pablo Show.” It was the cliche adventures of the smart and down to earth stick figure girl and her absolutely wacky sidekick. Retarded, I know. When I first made a website, on iWeb (I didn’t know HTML) I called it Blue Party Hat, after the most expensive item in the game Runescape. I made a couple of bad animations and gave it a seizure inducing bright blue and orange layout. It only lasted for a few months. After that, I made Pie Productions. I didn’t really think that the whole pie thing was funny anymore, but I decided to name it that anyway, unable to think of something else. A year and a half later and I’ve decided to start anew in the website business. Pie Productions isn’t just not a funny name anymore, it’s an embarrassing name. I know the internet isn’t serious business, but I’m going to name the next website something more serious. Probably having to do with my first name, Zak.
Also, I’m not sure if I’ll stick with Wordpress. I dislike Comicpress, and if there’s a better system for webcomic-ing and blogging, then please tell me about it. Yes, you. If you’re reading this, please suggest a new site name having to do with Zak, and if you can, a new system for the site. It’s not that hard, just do only the name thing if you want. Or the system thing.

Yep, I’m probably going to post updates here a little earlier than on Smackjeeves. Just a little treat for readers of this website.

When Peanutfoot is making animations in flash he often updates the site with a screenshot, just to let everyone know he hasn’t left the site and is still working. I will do the same here:

It’s a trailer for the “project” Nightfalcon and I are working on. It’s not a flash movie series, as the form of this trailer might imply, but a graphic novel instead. The plot isn’t completely worked out, but the setting and characters are. I’m guessing that we’ll start with the page making sometime early 2008. When I start making pages, I’ll install comicpress and update the site with them. During that time rants will be rare, I’ll be busy with the pages. Hopefully Yatter can supply the rants during that time. 
Today I had the courage to go and venture into the hellish pit of burning spambots and ugly layouts that is Myspace. I came back with a broken arm and a bunch of crappy images. I will show them to you now.

i hate when books/movies/people just fail at making ends/conclusions to things, and go and decide, well hey, we can just make it all better by adding a happy ending.

I just hate when it is done. It destroys any sort of meaning, moral or thought to occur, it kills any discussion on the subject. For example, i am a hardcore HP fan, and i by far loved books 1-6, and most of 7(parts before the end, maybe up until the last chapter or so(the last battle)) and the epilouge totally takes the whole series, and shoves it down the drain, flushes the toilet, and shuts the lid, then uses drain-o or some clog remover to destroy it. No author or Director should do that to us. In Short, i Hate that type of ending.
Rant Part 2: Windows Fanboys:
Spots like http://www.macxgamers.com/index.php?showtopic=3314 among others(tried to find the other one(a mac hates gamers rant) and couldn’t) show the things i absolutly hate. I hate when people complain and moan about how mac doesn’t seclude itself to “Gamers and Hackers” or the like, whereas that is all windows is good for, i use my mac nearly 8-12 hours a day, i have had 1 crash in the last year-year 1/2. ONE, ask anyone who uses a PC that often how many crashes and BSOD(blue screen of death)’s they get. I would assume around 5-10(you can rip me a new one on that ;)). Anyone arguing windows is better all around gets a 100% ignorance grant from me. I can not even talk to them anymore, they are too ignorant and idiotic to try it. Every Former-Windows-Now-Mac person i talk to(as well as just Former-Windows people) is excited with macs, and loves the ease and all else. Please all you windows Fanboys(if you are human) post your replies as mean and cutthroat as you wish. Windows Sucks, Never Liked it, Never will!
